Wonder why this post starts with a picture of mail? Read on to find out!
Mmmm.... Grilling.... *drool*
Anyways, despite the soul-deflating loss to the Blackhawks on this day, the Canucks still hold a solid lead over the defending champions so no one should be diving off bridges yet. If we ever have to come back to this god-forsaken arena though, it is officially time to start worrying.
Okay, good, that should do it for the main events of today. Are we done here? ...What do you mean I can't just pretend that I've been blogging about sports for years? I have to actually introduce this blog!?
Fine, fine, I guess before I wrap this up I should tell everyone who is reading this (which is no one at the moment) who I am and what this blog will be about. For that first point, I am a 23-year-old engineer who lives with his parents and who collects hockey cards. No, seriously.
Sidebar, got any sweet Sedin cards? Hit me up. This is at least 50% of the reason I'm even starting this blog.
I figured since I fit the stereotype of a blogger to a tee I might as well as just embrace my destiny. Truth is, the only reason I don't live in the basement is because the roof of said basement is about half an inch above my head.
Now that we've established that with my background smashing success is inevitable, we can move on to what this blog will be about. Luckily, because I know that the average attention span of an internet user is approximately 35 seconds (and not at all to save me the work of actually typing sentences and paragraphs), I've presented the relevant topics of this blog in a handy list:
- The Canucks (aka. Greatestteamonthefaceoftheplanetandthedestinedsaviourofallmankind)
- Hockey Cards
- Whatever else I feel like bitching about on that particular day
- Whatever my significant other decides is worth posting. Expect flowers and pictures of food.
Alright, that should wrap it up. Hopefully TreeTree (said significant other) will decide to throw something up here. I expect it will be much better than what I have written. In fact, I expect it will be full of frills. (Get it? Because she's a girl? Hahaha... This is the best you'll get, so you better enjoy it).
P.S. if somehow the Canucks lose to the Blackhawks in this series, chances are this blog will instantly be neglected. So at least you won't be inflicted by it for long in that case.

WOW, i can't believe spa is so expensive up there! 150 is waaaay high, especially since you can most boxes will have very little in terms of $$$ value.
